Universitas Ma Chung's logo mirrors the philosophy of water and nature.

The logo comprises of three waves which collectively reflect the foundation of Universitas Ma Chung, in the application of the three Pillars of Tertiary Education. Briefly, these waves express the system where education, research and community service are in practice.

The shape of the three waves is also seen in unity as a mountain which depicts and represents nature and the natural resources of Indonesia, while specifically displays the character of Malang, a city nestled at the foot of several mountains. Universitas Ma Chung is the educational lighthouse to its surrounding area.

The waves possess a positive philosophy relating to mankind. The color blue reflects the color of water as an integral source of life. The color green is construed as the variety of natural resources in Indonesia existing in abundance and in harmony.

The overall logo indicates that Universitas Ma Chung is a dynamic institution adept to the demands of age and time, as a superior resource of wisdom for those who have the constant thirst of knowledge.
